A Distinctive Teal Sapphire

Aiko is built around a 5.05 carat emerald-cut sapphire from Madagascar, measuring approximately 9.75 × 8.66 × 6.14mm. Its substantial scale and emerald-cut geometry give the sapphire a strong presence, while its teal color moves between deep blue and green.

The stone was selected not only for its color and size, but for the quality of its cut and proportions. A matte 18K yellow gold setting provides a contrast to the sapphire, keeping the color and geometry of the stone as the focus.

An Unexpected Detail

A hidden halo of brilliant-cut Canadian diamonds sits beneath the sapphire, introducing light from the side while remaining discreet when the ring is viewed from above. The detail adds another dimension to the setting without interrupting the clean profile of the center stone.

Designed and handcrafted in our San Luis Obispo studio, this one-of-a-kind Aiko was created specifically around this individual sapphire.
