A remarkable 2.38ct Australian black opal is set east-to-west in our sculptural Aura ring. Deep blues and vibrant greens shift across the stone, framed by softly matte 18K yellow gold.
At the center of this one-of-a-kind Aura ring is a 2.38 carat Australian black opal, displaying deep blue and green color that shifts as the stone moves through the light. Set horizontally across the finger, the opal becomes the focal point of the sculptural gold form.
Black opal is prized for the contrast between its darker body tone and its play-of-color. This stone shows vivid blues and greens, with flashes of brighter blue appearing as the viewing angle changes.
The opal is bezel-set east-to-west within the Aura design, surrounded by softly ridged 18K yellow gold. A matte finish emphasizes the form of the setting while providing a quiet contrast to the changing color of the stone.
The Aura ring is designed and made in our San Luis Obispo studio, bringing traditional goldsmithing together with a bold, contemporary setting designed around the individual gemstone.
